Meet the Host
Dr. Lynn Marshall is an educator, communication strategist, pastor and community advocate. She serves alongside of her husband Dr./Apostle Jarvis L. Marshall of Spirit Life Ministries in Auburndale, Fl. She is the founder of a women’s’ ministry entitled Kingdom Daughters which is designed to equip women with resources, wisdom and skill sets to become loving, respected, wise and affluent leaders in the marketplace, their homes, workplace, communities and the world. In addition to her ministry endeavors, Dr. Marshall is also a communication strategist and co-founder of the Leap Effect Group—a coaching and consulting firm.
Her passion for public health also resulted in Dr. Marshall being the founder and president of, Melanin Families Matter, a non-profit organization that focuses on maternal, child and family health. Dr. Marshall is the author of her self-published book—The Woman I’ve Become, her manual Hearing the Voice of God and her communications training manual—Effective Communication 101. Dr. Marshall and her husband are the proud parents of their daughters Loreal and Jaelyn.

Dr. Cherry Simmons is an apostle, prophetic voice, and Board Certified Christian Counselor who has ministered for over 30 years alongside her husband, Dr. Tony Anthony Simmons. Together they have planted three churches and founded The Marketplace International Church in Jesup, Georgia, a ministry dedicated to empowerment, restoration, and equipping believers. She also leads the annual Empowered Woman gathering, encouraging women to embrace their roles in the body of Christ and the marketplace. In addition, Dr. Simmons co-founded Kingdom Ministry Alliance to support ministry and business leaders through fellowship, training, and biblical instruction. Her professional background includes serving as a private school principal, providing educational services, and counseling leaders through The Leap Effect Group. With over 25 years of pastoral counseling experience, she and her husband own Beside Still Waters of Georgia LLC, a Christian counseling practice. Married for 39 years, she is the mother of six and grandmother of seven, deeply committed to family, faith, and community.

Dr. NiKita Scott is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, birth doula, yoga teacher, and professor dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging seasons. Her work emphasizes compassion, evidence-based practices, and a holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit. She specializes in reproductive and perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, and guiding clients through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and major life transitions. Dr. Scott also assists those coping with chronic illness, stress, and anxiety, using methods such as talk therapy, mindfulness, yoga-based techniques, and psychoeducation tailored to each client’s needs. Known for her calm and supportive presence, she creates a safe space for honest processing and resilience-building. Beyond her clinical practice, she mentors future social workers and draws on her experience as a doula and yoga teacher to offer a nurturing, strength-based perspective. Her ultimate goal is to help clients find healing and meaningful change at their own pace.

Dr. Denise Walker is an Apostle, visionary, and servant-leader whose ministry spans more than four decades. Born in Florida, she began her journey with Christ as a teenager and launched her ministry in 1980 while serving in the U.S. Army. Alongside her husband, Dr. Carlton Walker, she co-founded Bold as A Lion Word of Faith Training Center in Macon, Georgia, a ministry focused on restoring families and equipping believers for victorious living. Her outreach includes international missions, a community food bank, a prophetic school, and programs that empower youth through arts and worship. Dr. Walker has planted and oversees churches across the U.S. and abroad, including in Pakistan and Kenya, through the Bold as A Lion Apostolic Network. Recognized as one of Middle Georgia’s Top 20 Most Influential Leaders and honored with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, she is also a Doctor of Divinity and media personality. Despite her many accomplishments, she treasures her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother while continuing to advance the Kingdom of God globally.
